(2/10/2021) Boy, that was a blowout I didn’t see coming. The ageless Tom Brady led the way for the Buccaneers as they tore part the Kansas City Chiefs. I really thought the Chiefs would win. It goes to show you what can happen when you go all in, as the Buccaneers did. Brady, Rob Gronkowski, Antonio Brown and Leonard Fournette were all signed this year, and were all key in the win. Tampa Bay Defensive Coordinator Todd Bowles really was the big difference in this game, as he was in the Packers’ game. Bowles continued to call for pressure on the quarterback, and despite the obvious skill of Patrick Mahomes, Mahomes and the rest of the Chiefs were punished.

(2/3/2021) I’ve spent the week following the Packers loss in the NFC championship game being bitter about the loss, about the Packers failing again to get to the Super Bowl, about bad officiating, poor play, a bad defensive scheme (I’m happy Mike Pettine is gone), gutless offensive decisions, a front office that doomed the season before it started and wondering what the future holds without Aaron Rodgers. Other than that, me and countless other Packers fans have been doing just fine. Rodgers said the future is a “beautiful mystery.” I’m sure it is for him. But what about us? It’s all about perspective, I guess.

It was with mixed emotions that I learned Sunday morning that cornerback Kevin King was going to be active for the game. I thought he was our best chance at cornerback, and he also had the possibility of being the team’s weak link. Tom Brady exploited King for an early touchdown to Mike Evans, but it was the touchdown pass at the end of the half to Scotty Miller that really was the back breaker for the Packers. King couldn’t stop it, and he knew it was coming.
