+ July 04, 2021 THE number of people who have fled their homes due to the Taal Volcano’s magmatic unrest has increased to about 1,000 families, the Batangas Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) said on Sunday, July 4, 2021. As of 5 a.m., mayroon tayong 1,000 pamilya at mahigit 3,000 indibidwal na inilikas at posible pa itong madagdagan, Batangas PDRRMO head Joselito Castro said in a radio interview.

The “Grateful Tuesdays” gift and aid-giving has become a weekly event, under the auspices of chemist Pinky Tobiano and co-hosts Jaya and Zephanie.
Last Wednesday, April 21, they brought gift packs and joy to over 150 youth under the care of SOS Village Village in Lipa, Batangas.
Chemist Pinky Tobiano led the gift-giving, in coordination with Vice-Governor Mark Leviste.
Pinky was joined by co-host Jaya and special guest Moira dela Torre just like in all undertakings of the public service online show.
It was a memorable day for the children as they received gifts and joining Jaya and Moira in singing the hit song “Paubaya.”
