Join our community, virtually, in celebrating the accomplishments of our 401 graduates while also getting an exclusive look at the projects that are created during a week-long development sprint. The group presentations will give you a great sense of the stories and backgrounds of the graduates coming out of Code Fellows, while also providing insights into the skill sets gained over the past 10 weeks. In just 5 days, these students plan, build, and launch an MVP to demonstrate their development capabilities.
There is no better way to be part of our community while also gaining early access to the talent from our program than joining this event!

MEMPHIS, Tenn., April 15, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Seattle-based Code Fellows partners with Memphis-based CodeCrew School to help underrepresented minorities obtain skills in software development, ops and cybersecurity.
Individuals from all skill levels and backgrounds will be provided industry-relevant vocational training with the objective to gain meaningful and financially rewarding employment, strengthening the local economy in Memphis. As part of the CodeCrew Code School mission, we seek to increase diversity in the tech ecosystem. The Code Fellows and CodeCrew partnership will allow us to provide a flexible coding curriculum and increase course offerings to our community. Want to learn to out-hack the hackers? Start here! In this one-day workshop, you will get hands-on practice with the tools and techniques of penetration testers and ethical hackers. Get a taste of the Code Fellows cybersecurity program, learn how to find and exploit computer systems, and explore cybersecurity career pathways.
Ops 101 is about experiencing what cybersecurity is all about, through a day-long immersive course for beginners that focuses on hands-on usage of the tools and techniques of ethical hackers. The only technical skill required to take the course is basic computer use familiarity.

James is a Code Fellows alumni and currently employed at Facebook as a Production Engineer. A production engineer is a mix of software-engineer and devops.
He’ll be talking about the Code Fellows journey, the job hunt after, and how Facebook breaks his brain on a regular basis. More specifically, how working at Facebook has changed his perspective on solving problems.
