BeSeatSmart.org and child seat fitting stations keeps Vermont’s children safe on the road
Vermont Business Magazine The Department of Health is pleased to announce that the National Child Passenger Safety Board (NCPSB) recently recognized Vermont Child Passenger Safety Coordinator Sidney Bradley as the 2021 U.S. Child Passenger Safety Instructor of Year.
Bradley, a resident of Franklin County, is part of the Vermont Child Passenger Safety program (CPS). The CPS works with a statewide network of community volunteers to educate families and caregivers on the proper use of car and booster seats to ensure children are safe on Vermont’s roadways.

The New York State Police are sponsoring a free child passenger safety fitting station where certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on hand to install or inspect your child car seats. The event will be on Saturday, April 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will be held at the State Police at Fredonia, 10274 Route 60.

This Saturday, April 10, Safe Kids St. Louis and SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital will host a car seat (or booster seat) check in which certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will teach parents how to properly install your car seat.
CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. â The New York State Police is sponsoring a free Child Passenger Safety fitting station where certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on hand to install or inspect your child car seats.
The event will be on Tuesday, Dec. 15, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will be held at Clifton Park Halfmoon EMS, 15 Crossing Blvd., Clifton Park, NY 12065.
