World No.1 Jin Young Ko will play the 50th edition of the ANA Inspiration, taking place April 1 - 4 at Mission Hills Country Club, Rancho Mirage, California.
With the tournament returning to its usual position on the calendar as the first Major of the year, the 50th Anniversary is being celebrated with a look back at the past champions and especially the foundations built by Dinah Shore, whose statue takes pride of place by the 18th green. Please view the special 50th Anniversary short film here.
Ko, who wasn’t able to defend her title in 2020, confirmed she will return to the desert where her win in 2019 saw her first climb to the top of the Rolex World Rankings. She went on to win a second major that summer at the Evian Championship and was crowned as the 2019 Rolex Player of the Year.

Each of the players read the full script, and the editors assembled the narration by choosing the lines we delivered best. That was my line, my voice. What the editors didn’t know was how much that line means to me. Here’s why.

It normally happens in Naples, Florida in November. In a candlelit courtyard and opulent ballroom at the Ritz Carlton Resort, the LPGA and one of its most important partners, ROLEX, usually hosts the year-end ROLEX Awards Banquet after the opening round of the CME Group Tour Championship.
But COVID-19 changed everything in 2020. Not only was the season-ending event of the year not played until December, the week before Christmas, social gatherings of any size were postponed or canceled altogether. However, that hasn’t stopped ROLEX and the LPGA from honoring the outstanding achievements of 2020.
Join the LPGA Facebook page at 7:00 p.m. EST on Wednesday night for a live, virtual presentation of the 2020 ROLEX LPGA Celebration, a night that will recognize ROLEX first-time winners, Mel Reed, Madelene Sagstrom, Sophia Popov and Ally Ewing as well as our ROLEX LPGA Player of the Year, Sei Young Kim, Vare Trophy recipient Danielle K
