Vaccines help protect kids of all ages from serious diseases. Those include diseases like whooping cough and measles. O’FALLON If you’re living with a hurting hip, you’ve probably at least considered the possibility of having that hip replaced. Joint replacement surgery has helped many people enjoy more active, pain-free lives again since its inception decades ago.
But getting a new joint is major surgery. So at what point might you really need to have your hip replaced?
It depends mainly on your pain and how much it limits your activities, experts say. Age is less of a factor, although most joint surgery candidates are older than 50.
