On Friday the Illinois Department of Public Health reported 199,871 COVID-19 vaccinations so far in the county. IDPH officials said 97,748 county residents or 36.96% of the county’s population are now fully vaccinated for COVID-19. The MCHD no longer releases daily COVID-19 vaccination numbers. The Telegraph will continue to report Madison County vaccination data as released by the IDPH. Multiple COVID-19 vaccination clinics are now available through the MCHD. Recently added MCHD vaccination clinics include the Alton Moose Lodge at 526 E. Delmar Ave., Godfrey, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, and June 1-5 at Gateway Convention Center in Collinsville.

Together, in the past week, the two counties administered at least one dose of the vaccine to 8,812 people and fully vaccinated 5,605 individuals.
