Suspect Charged With Murder After Beating 93-Year-Old Man
SAN ANTONIO, TX A 24-year-old has been charged with murder after he savagely beat a 93-year-old man.
According to court documents, Guadalupe Andrew Martinez was sitting in his walker in front of the convenience store when he was attacked on August 16.
According to police Martinez was punched and kicked in the head and face by Damian Kay Kay Hernandez.
The assault left him unconscious and caused a severe head laceration.
Martinez would ultimately die a month later while at a rehabilitation center. His death was ruled a homicide after the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office determined the cause of death was by blunt force trauma to the head.

SAN ANTONIO A San Antonio man is facing a murder charge after police say he beat a 93-year-old man to death.
According to an arrest warrant, 24-year-old Damian Kay Kay Jimenez punched and kicked the elderly victim while he was sitting in a walker near the door of an east-side convenience store on August 16. The attack knocked Guadalupe Andrew Martinez unconscious, and later killed him according to the affidavit.
Martinez, died at a rehabilitation center on September 20 due to complications of blunt force trauma, according to the medical examiner.
After the attack, the store owner showed police security footage and identified the assailant as Jimenez, a former employee at the store. The affidavit states that when SAPD officers found Jimenez walking near his home, he spontaneously said that he had hit the victim.

SAN ANTONIO – A man has been arrested after a 93-year-old man who was beaten in his walker died from his injuries, according to authorities.
Bexar County Jail records show Damian Kay Kay Hernandez, 24, was charged with murder and booked on Monday, months after the incident that happened on Aug. 16.
An arrest affidavit states the victim, identified as Guadalupe Andrew Martinez, was sitting in his walker outside the front door of a convenience store on the East Side when he was attacked.
