Guadalupe County deciding on finishing touches for sheriff s office renovation, construction project

Seguin, TX, USA / Seguin Today Jun 9, 2021 | 5:38 AM (Seguin) It looks like the finishing touches are the topic of discussion for the Guadalupe County Commissioners Court as it looks to finalize the renovation and expansion project of the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office. Although the newly constructed side of the office is officially in operation, cosmetic issues regarding the old side of the building are now being questioned for the project which has not only taken a bit longer but appears will cost a little more. Overseeing the project on behalf of the commissioners court is Commissioner Pct. 2 Drew Engelke. Engelke says the county has a few more hurdles before it can officially wrap up the project.

We’ve got right around two million vaccines distributed in the state of Texas for 30 million Texans. If they were distributing 200,000 to 250,000 vaccines per week, it would take over 70 weeks to vaccinate the entire state of Texas, so we’ve got some supply deficiencies to say the least but what we’ve focused on working with our partners in the city of Schertz, Cibolo, Selma, Seguin, New Braunfels and the smaller cities is basically identifying and solidifying those mass vaccination sites within multiple major cities but also with our partners working with volunteer groups

Guadalupe County Judge, Seguin Mayor send messages to citizens this holiday season
