The role of government has changed significantly in the past year, in ways no one expected when they elected the island s politicians.
Now, once floundering programs will be flushed with cash, after the island receives $604 million in American Rescue Act funds.
After months of penny-pinching measures, a huge debate over what the government should prioritize lies ahead.

Despite record unemployment on the island, there are opportunities for those looking to expand their skill sets by getting free training in a new career.
