PUTRAJAYA: Parti Pejuang Tanah Air (Pejuang) will submit an appeal to Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin tomorrow, after its application to register as a political party was rejected by the Registrar of Societies (RoS).

(pix) said the party would abide by every law and regulations set to ensure the party’s registration is approved.
“We received information from the RoS that Pejuang’s application for registration has been rejected. We have worked on this for so long; we tried to adhere to all directives, legislation, regulations to register our party but it was rejected,” he told a news conference here, today.

SINGAPORE: The plan was to connect Singapore and Kuala Lumpur - two metropolitan cities in Southeast Asia - by a high-speed rail, revving both economies and propelling each to become a formidable force in the region.
However, this was not to be after the KL-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) project was terminated on New Year’s Day after the agreement to construct it lapsed on Dec 31, 2020.
KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysia s cancellation of the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) project is the latest in a series of controversies involving train projects that has cast a light on the governance of these billion-dollar deals.
Since the Perikatan Nasional (PN) government came to power 10 months ago, at least two other tracks which traverse Kuala Lumpur s greater metropolitan area are facing government intervention over the selection of contractors.
The RM4.4 billion (S$1.44 billion) Klang Valley Double Tracking Phase 2 (KVDT2) deal was terminated abruptly in August after Transport Minister Wee Ka Siong said the award should be retendered, leading to a civil suit by the appointed firm, Dhaya Maju LTAT.
