KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 163 confirmed Covid-19 cases have been identified at Pasar Borong Kuala Lumpur after more than a week of testing among workers at the vegetables, fruits and fish sections.
Kuala Lumpur Fruits Wholesalers’ Association president Chin Nyuk Moy said test results for workers at the fruit section had been completed. We are the last batch of workers that had undergone the testing and five of the workers here were infected with the virus. The Health Ministry has been alerted and some of the patients had been admitted to hospital. Some of the suppliers who had interacted with us had also undergone swab tests and two came back positive, she said.
