A Florida fourth-grader has been charged with a felony after threatening to shoot two classmates, then bringing a gun to school.
The 11-year-old student at Osceola Elementary School was taken into custody as he got off the bus and was held under the Baker Act, a Florida law allowing for people with mental illness to be held for up to 72 hours.
The school’s Youth Relations Deputy apprehended him, stopping the boy as he got off the school bus, according to WINK-TV.
