New Delhi [India], June 11 (ANI): The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) on Friday hailed the Karnataka High Court's decision that the Competition Commission of India (CCI) can go ahead with a probe against Amazon and Flipkart for their alleged anti-competitive practices.

The bandh was supported by the Kamrup Chamber of Commerce, Asom Jatiya Parishad, and the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee.

NEW DELHI: The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) on Sunday said that it will soon release a white paper on the state of Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime in the country.
The traders body has been raising concerns for some time now over the arbitrariness of the tax regime. It has also called for a traders strike on February 26.

WhatsApp new privacy policy has been challenged in Delhi High Court. A writ petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court challenging the new privacy policy introduced by instant messaging app, WhatsApp, as being violative of the citizens Right to Privacy and threatening the National Security of India.
The petition demands the High Court to stop the new policy of WhatsApp with immediate effect. The petition has been filed by Advocate Chaitanya Rohilla, stating that the updated policy gives the Company virtually a 360-degree profile into a per person s online activity, as reported by LiveLaw.
