While some councillors hoped to see more of the data collected over the past two years, Perth County council still approved a contract extension for its climate-change co-ordinator that will allow for the completion of a regional emissions reduction plan.
Responding to concerns raised at council’s Feb. 4 meeting about a lack of progress reports on the work of co-ordinator Rebecca Garlic since she was hired on a two-year contract in 2019, county staff brought forward a more detailed overview of her accomplishments for consideration Thursday.
