내년 최저임금이 올해(8720원)보다 5.1% 오른 9160원으로 결정되면서 문재인정부 내에서의 최저임금 심의는 모두 끝났다. ‘1만원 달성’ 공약에서 출발한 최저임금 심의는 전강후약(前强後弱) 널뛰기식 인상률로 노사 모두에 고통만 안기는 결과를 초래했다는 비판이 거세다. 전문가들은 최저임금 제도가 정치적 수단으로 이용될 때 저임금 노동자와 소상공인에게 얼마나 큰 혼란을 일으키는지 확인된 사례라고 지적한다. 13일 노동계와 경영계 모두 공익위원 주도로 최저임금위원회에서 결정한 5.1% 인상안에 대해 유감을 표명하고 강력 대응을 예고했다. 이날 전국민주노동조합총연맹은 성명을 내고 “문재인정부의 최저임금 1만원 공약은 끝내 지켜지지 않았다”며 “저임금 노동자들을 우롱하고 희망 고문한 것을 강력히 규탄한다”고 비판했다. 한국
