COAS Bajwa assures business community of full support

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday affirmed the Pakistan Army’s complete support to the business community in economic uplift of the country, says an official statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to the military’s media wing, the members of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) called on the army chief at GHQ today.
During the meeting, FPCCI’s role in the development of commercial and industrial hubs in Pakistan as well as evolving regional economic environment were discussed, it added.

Prominent businessmen of the country on Wednesday acknowledged the army’s role and sacrifices in providing a secure and enabling environment for economic prosperity in Pakistan.
The appreciation was made by the members Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry in a meeting with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations.
During the meeting, FPCCI’s role in the development of commercial and industrial hubs in Pakistan as well as evolving regional economic environment were discussed. [Gen Bajwa] appreciated role of business community in economic uplift of Pakistan and affirmed Pakistan Army’s complete support, said the ISPR.

Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday assured the business community of the Pakistan Army’s complete support for the economic uplift of the country.
He made assurances when he met a delegation of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI), according to a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR). The army chief lauded FPCCI for its role in the development of commercial and industrial hubs in Pakistan.
