FGEI students get ready for regular classes from today National March 1, 2021 Rawalpindi: All schools and colleges, operating under the Federal Government Educational Institutions (FGEI) Cant/Garrison Directorate, would open from March 1 (Monday) as per the pre-coronavirus routine. The educational institutes will be operating five days a week with 100 per cent attendance from Monday, the spokesman for the FGEI Wajid Masood said. The full-fledged activities in schools and colleges had been restored after considerable decline in the corona cases. He said heads of all educational departments had been instructed to ensure implementation of anti-COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in letter and spirit to avoid any contraction of the virus.

Tax awareness educational sessions held in two colleges of Rawalpindi Islamabad, February 25, 2021 (PPI-OT): In continuation of holding Tax Awareness Educational Sessions in different educational institutes under Directorate of Federal Government Educational Institutions Cantt. Garrison, Ministry of Defense, Federal Board of Revenue held sessions in F.G Degree College for Women, Abid Majeed Road, Rawalpindi and F.G. Quaid-e-Azam College, Chaklala, Rawalpindi separately. Different activities for the students were arranged in the Tax Awareness Educational Session which greatly helped the students to understand the tax structure and importance of tax payment responsibility. The Letter of Understanding was signed by Director Administration, Directorate of Federal Government Educational Institution, Cantonments Garrisons, Brigadier Khalid Mahmood Shafi, and Chief FATE of FBR Aisha Farooq.
