Published on: Apr 15, 2021, 10:12 AM Philadelphia, PA – Philadelphia rapper AR-Ab (real name Abdul West) has been behind the walls of the Federal Detention Center in Philly since his 2018 arrest on drug charges. According to All Hip Hop, AR-Ab filed an emergency motion earlier this week to prevent the murder victims’ family members from delivering their impact statements at Thursday’s (April 15) sentencing hearing. The federal government’s case against AR-Ab and eight members of his Original Block Hustlaz (OBH) crew was given new life after former associate Dontez “Tez” Stewart  testified against the rapper during trial. Stewart claimed AR-Ab ordered a hit on a drug dealer named Robert Johnson. Stewart allegedly carried out the murder in return for roughly $10,000 worth of drugs.
