PUTRAJAYA: The Communications and Multimedia Ministry (KKMM) has submitted an application for media practitioners to be given priority in phase two of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.
Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah said he had requested that media personnel be given the Covid-19 vaccine jabs early as they are also frontliners.
“I deferred my vaccine (jab) because I want to be vaccinated together with the media. When I get mine, the media will get in phase two. Insyaallah . we have asked for it to be speeded up for the media as they are also frontliners,” he told a press conference here today.

KUALA TERENGGANU, April 10 The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) has issued 84 notices against food and beverage premises operators nationwide for charging more than RM1 for a glass of plain water.
Its Deputy Minister Datuk Rosol Wahid said all the notices were issued through Ops Catut 8.0 carried out since Wednesday (April 7) following complaints from the public.
“The operation will be carried out until April 15 by enforcement teams nationwide. Based on the number of notices issued, we find that this is quite a common occurrence.
