Thatcham man dies following six-vehicle pile-up in Bracknell

The man, a 56-year-old from Thatcham, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The incident occurred just after 8am this morning [Monday, May 10] between Ringmead and South Hill Road.  No-one else was seriously hurt in the incident. At just after 11.20am on May 1, a black Honda 125 moped and a grey Citroen DS3 crashed on Uxbridge Road at the George Green junction of Black Park Road near Wexham. The moped rider suffered serious ankle injuries and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where he remains. No arrests have been made.
