Invincible Cat, by husband-and-wife artists Don Kennell and Lisa Adler, is 15,000 pounds of what used to be car hoods (56 of them, to be exact). And it s keeping watch on this vacant lot tucked inside a neighborhood along the Hi-Speedline not only to entertain riders, but also to call attention to a serious problem plaguing the City of Camden: illegal dumping and pollution.

Man shot in stomach while standing on N.J. city sidewalk Updated Apr 20, 2021; A man was wounded in an early morning barrage of gunfire in Bridgeton, police reported. The victim was standing on a sidewalk on Maple Drive shortly before 3 a.m. on Saturday when multiple shots were fired from an unknown direction, striking him in the stomach and right arm, police said. Family members drove him to Inspira Bridgeton Health Center and he was then flown to Cooper University Hospital, Camden. Details on the victim’s condition were not available Tuesday. About 10 shots in all were fired, including one round that struck a parked car, according to police.
