Colour is energy made visible – words that popped up this week on one of my Instagram squares from @aestheticsofjoy. It got me thinking. As the seasons change, so do our wardrobe choices and, by default, so do our interior choices. The cold weather dictates heavier coats, warmer jerseys, and cosier outfits, and it’s the same when we hunker down and live in the colder weather. As well as the functional changes we make to our wardrobes and home spaces, we also choose colours that reflect mood, feelings and our frame of mind. We tend to embrace darker shades, warmer tones and matte colours.
