(KFVS) - Part of Blandville Road is back open after a two-vehicle crash on Friday morning, January 29. Earlier in the morning, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department said Blandville Road between Fisher Road and Gholson Road was shut down. According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 1′s Facebook page, it was a two-vehicle injury crash. UPDATE: U.S. 62 is CLEARED. KYTC Snowfighters Ready For Winter Event Tonight

Eagle Country 99.3 By Travis Thayer File photo. (Covington, Ky.) – Snow and ice removal crews are ready to hit the roads in northern Kentucky. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 6 says snowfighters will report for duty this afternoon at 5:00 p.m. in anticipation of a wintery mix forecasted in the area. The forecast from the National Weather Service shows light snow this afternoon and into this evening. Accumulations will generally by under an inch. Several of the District 6 counties have been pre-treating several priority roads. D-6 snowfighters will mobilize ahead of the storm to treat state roads and interstates. Crews plan to work through the night to get the roads in the best possible condition for the morning commute.

Updated, 10:59 p.m.: The ramp from I-275 to southbound I-71/75 reopened Monday night about 12 hours after a tanker truck crashed. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reported on Twitter that the ramp was reopened shortly after 10 p.m. Previous reporting: KYTC said the ramp from I-275 to southbound I-71/75 will be closed for hours after a crash Monday.  The eastbound and westbound I-275 ramp to I-71/75 southbound in Erlanger is closed due to an overturned tanker truck that has all lanes blocked, officials said.
