Minister of State for Heritage, Malcolm Noonan, told the Dáil hat his department will work to enhance the activity programme in the park this year and that a significant number of capital projects will be progressed to enhance the visitor experience.

A Killarney GP says a shortfall in COVID-19 vaccine delivery means his practice will have no doses for patients over 70 next week. Yesterday, Dr Gary Stack was informed by the HSE that just 60 of the 205 Pfizer vaccines doses requested by his practice will arrive next week. This means patients over 75 awaiting their second dose will be covered but there will be no vaccines for those over 70. Advertisement Dr Stack says it is frustrating trying to plan a vaccination clinic due to this and patients are calling the practice every hour asking about vaccines.
