Vitality #WomensFACup: Final celebrates its 50th anniversary

he FA has confirmed the dates for the remaining rounds of the 2020/2021 Vitality Women’s FA Cup, with the Final at Wembley Stadium celebrating 50 years of the competition.
Following the pausing of this season’s campaign over the winter due to government guidelines, dates for each round have had to be pushed back, meaning the final three rounds will be played on the following dates and go into next season. These follow the already confirmed Fifth Round, which takes place 16-20 May:

A host of high-profile names from women’s football have met to discuss the game’s development and the role of the UEFA MIP Alumni in helping players to forge new careers once they have hung up their boots.
The conference, which featured Nadine Kessler, Tatjana Haenni and Kelly Simmons, who are currently working at UEFA, the Swiss Football Association and The Football Association respectively, focused on how women in leadership positions can help to further accelerate development in the women’s game.

To celebrate the anniversary, The FA is launching its first FA Women’s Super League Hall of Fame, which will be sponsored by Barclays, that will look to recognise those individuals who have made a significant impact on the league.
Whether that be a Golden Boot winner, a winning coach, or an individual who has displayed excellence or leadership during the league’s existence, induction into the Barclays FA WSL Hall of Fame will be reserved for an exclusive group each year, honouring their contribution to the league.
