Kevin Dailey, a detective and 14-year veteran of the Warren Police Department, worked in the department’s auto theft unit and is accused of selling auto parts for cash after taking them from the department, the TV station reports. He is charged with two counts of embezzlement in the line of duty, which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison, the report said. Dailey is out of jail on a $5,000 personal bond. He is on unpaid leave from the department.
