4 Suspects Arrested, Accused Of Shooting At Edmond Police

Tuesday, December 15th 2020, 10:59 pm By: Erica Rankin EDMOND, Okla. - Edmond police received a call early Tuesday morning from someone at the Coffee Creek Apartments who said she saw four people who were breaking into cars. Edmond officials said there was an officer in the area who was able to initiate a pursuit with the suspects when they didn’t pull over. The officer initiated a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI) on the car, but the car was able to recover. So, the officer tried to initiate another, but that is when police said a suspect rolled down the window and shot seven times at the officers.

4 In Custody After Overnight Pursuit, Firing Shots At Officers

By: News 9 EDMOND, Okla. - Edmond Police said 4 people are in custody Tuesday morning after an overnight pursuit ended on the Kilpatrick Turnpike. According to authorities, this started as an auto burglary at the Coffee Creek Apartments near Fretz Avenue and West 15th Street. Police said the suspects led officers up and down Broadway and shots were fired at them near Broadway and Comfort Drive. No officers were hit. The suspects bailed out of their vehicle and fled on the Kilpatrick Turnpike near North Eastern Avenue. Three suspects were quickly taken into custody and a perimeter was set up while police searched for the fourth suspect.
