Meerut: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday expressed support to the farmers protesting against the Centre’s three farm laws and said that the Red Fort incident was planned by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said the central government is worse than the Britishers who ruled India, for filing cases against the farmers and branding them as terrorists.
Speaking in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, Kejriwal said that the Centre s three farm laws are a death warrant for farmers. “The government wants to take away their lands and give them to 3-4 capitalists. Farmers will become labourers in their own fields, that is why it s do or die situation for farmers,” he said.
