39-year-old Jesse Henry Hammer of Jessie Mays Lane in Taylorsville was arrested by Hickory Police early Monday morning (May 24) on a long list of failure to appear charges. Hammer allegedly failed to appear in court on charges of possession of methaqualone or quaaludes (two counts), possession with intent to sell or deliver methaqualone or quaaludes, and maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for a controlled substance (two counts). He also reportedly failed to appear in court on charges of possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a stolen motor vehicle (two counts), possession of heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia (four counts).
