The Daily Jeffersonian Feed My People, a ministry started over 40 years ago by the Council of Churches in Cambridge, is asking the community for help.  Since its founding, Feed My People has grown into one of the area s largest food services, open five days a week and serving approximately 30,000 meals annually to hungry community members. Christ s Lutheran Church made its kitchen available to Feed My People. Over time, the kitchen has fallen into disrepair. It was not designed for this heavy use, Pastor Catrina Hawkins-Bowles, Christ s United Lutheran Church said. We must bring the kitchen into the 21st century or this ministry will have to find a new home.
