Soon after, however, reality dawned on many parents, especially those with children in private schools, that they would have to dig deeper into their pockets to cater for transport of their young ones. This is after schools increased their transport charges by between 50 and 80 percent to cater for the additional trips occasioned by the need to observe COVID-19 protocols.
