Burton police investigate teen’s death in Russian roulette game

BURTON, MI Police in Burton have announced they are investigating the death of a teen during a game of Russian roulette.
The death itself occurred more than two months ago, but police said they have issued a public statement on the matter due to a “large amount of public interest in the case.”
On Oct. 24, police responded to a reported shooting at a house on Packard Avenue. They arrived to find an unresponsive 17-year-old male who had suffered a lone gunshot wound to his head.
The teen was taken to an area hospital where staff pronounced him deceased.

FLINT, MI The Genesee County Prosecutor’s Office has issued charges against four suspects believed to have conspired to shoot a Flint home which led to the killing of a 3-year-old boy.
Desean Montez Davis, 25, of Flint, was arraigned Dec. 12 in Genesee District Court on single counts of charges of conspiracy to commit first degree murder and conspiracy to discharge a firearm in or at a building causing death.
Three additional suspects two 20-year-old men and a 21-year-old man have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder, first-degree murder, conspiracy to discharge a firearm in or at a building causing death, five counts of felony firearm, two counts of malicious destruction of a building $1,000 or more but less than $20,000, malicious destruction of personal property $1,000 or more but less than $20,000 and carrying a counseled weapon.
