The Wilmington–Cape Fear Home Builders Association recently announced the dates for this year s Parade of Homes.
The WCFHBA s 35th Annual Parade of Homes is expected to take place two weekends: Saturday, April 24, and Sunday, April 25; and Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2, with homes open from noon to 5 p.m. each day, according to a news release.
This self-guided tour is always free to the public.
Consumers will have the opportunity to explore more than 45 different homes; get to know 23 different builders; view home descriptions; view photos and floor plans; take 3D virtual tours; and see the latest in construction, designs and furnishings, the release stated.

Is the pandemic playing a part in the population boom Wilmington is seeing?
Well, maybe. But it s a bit more complicated than that.
According to an analysis done by a platform specializing in relocation technology, Updater, as well as from observations of local realtors and homebuilders, Wilmington has been seeing an influx of new residents during the pandemic.
In an interview with Fox News, Updater’s Founder and CEO David Greenberg said one reason people have been eyeing cities like Wilmington is related to the ability to work from home.
