The Borst family has been milking cows for 4 generations in southeast Rochester. They know a thing or two about dairy products and they love sharing their knowledge. They just opened the Moo House which gives you the chance to experience a real dairy farm and learn exactly how milk gets from the cow to the bottle .
Each Saturday they open their farm to the public for one-hour tours. On their website, they say, you’ll never forget the day you got to pet a baby calf, see a cow getting milked, smell fresh cow feed, and get splattered with cow pies. Over the next three weekends, the farm is teaming up with one of Rochester s premier restaurants to create delicious sundaes for Ice Cream on the Farm . Learn more about the tours and the special sundaes that will be available over the next three weekends below.
