2-year-old in critical condition after being hit by vehicle

A two-year-old child is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Waterford Township in Camden County Monday afternoon.
Township police rushed to the 1800 block of Bisbee Avenue for a report of a child who had been hit by a vehicle, Chief Daniel Cormaney said in a statement.
They found the two-year-old suffering from multiple injuries and he or she was airlifted to a local hospital, Cormaney said.
Bisbee Avenue is a short, dead-end street off of Old White Horse Pike, just a block from Waterford Township Elementary School.

WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, N.J. - A child was struck by a vehicle in Camden County, officials said Monday.
According to authorities, a two-year-old child was struck Monday, just before 2 p.m., on the 1800 block of Bisbee Avenue in Waterford Township, New Jersey.
First responders arrived to find the child was suffering from multiple injuries. The child was flown to an area hospital and is listed in critical condition.
An investigation into the incident is underway, conducted by Waterford Township police and the Camden County Crash Response Investigation Team.
