Police revealed that a man arrested in March is accused of murdering his mother.
Cambridgeshire Police revealed tonight that the murdered woman was Wendy Cole, 70, of Oak Tree Close, March.
She died at her home in the early hours of Monday as a result of a stab wound.
Her son, Jonathon Cole, 35, of Oaktree Close, March, appeared at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court today (May 12) charged with murder.
He has been remanded to appear at Cambridge Crown Court on Friday (14 May).

The family of Tom Lewis who died in hospital after being stabbed in Wisbech paid tribute to their much-loved son . Two men have now been charged with his murder.

Two men have been charged with the murder of 23-year-old Tom Lewis of Wisbech.
Tom was stabbed in the town on September 8 last year but died two days later.
Detectives investigating the murder revealed today they have charged two people.
Tom of Larksfield in Wisbech, was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital from Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kings Lynn to undergo surgery to his leg after he was stabbed in Norwich Road in the early hours of the same morning.

Detectives investigating the murder of a man in Wisbech last September have charged two people.
Tom Lewis, 23, of Larksfield in Wisbech was airlifted to Addenbrooke s Hospital in Cambridge from Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kings Lynn on September 8 to undergo surgery on his leg after he was stabbed in the early hours of that morning in Norwich road, Wisbech.
Chantal Smith was sentenced at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on Thursday April 22.

A woman who used a fake name to insure her disqualified partner has been sentenced.
Chantal Smith, 30, of Ramsey Road, St Ives, told insurers she had a full UK driving licence when she only had a provisional. She also used a false name to insure her partner.
In September last year, officers caught her partner driving the car whilst disqualified and without insurance. He told officers Smith knew he was disqualified as she had been at court with him.
At Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on Thursday April 22, Smith was sentenced to eight weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, 150 hours unpaid work and fined £233, after previously pleading guilty to making a false statement to obtain insurance and permitting the use of a motor vehicle with no insurance.
