Live updates as police launch manhunt after serious assault in St Neots
A male victim, in his 30s, sustained serious injuries
Cambridgeshire Police have launched a manhunt today, March 11, after a serious assault in a Cambridgeshire town.
Cambridgeshire officers were photographed outside the flats in Pulleyn Court, St Neots, at around 10.30am today, and remain on scene.
A spokesman for the force confirmed that they were called with reports of an assault at 9.47am this morning.
One victim, a man in his 30s, was left with serious injuries, while the other victim, a woman, did not appear to have serious injuries.

A neighbour of Wisbech mayor and publican Aigars Balsevics has written a letter of support for him ahead of a licensing committee on Monday when he faces 21 accusations of breaching Covid 19 regulations.
However part of the letter s contents have been challenged - and denied - by Wisbech Town Council.
The letter writer accused police of at one stage of “placing a surveillance camera team in the council chamber opposite over a number of days at public expense to elicit no evidence of any wrongdoing”
But town clerk Terry Jordan refuted that.
