Cambridgeshire Police stands against domestic abuse  | Updated: 14:28, 05 March 2021 Cambridgeshire Constabulary is supporting a national campaign to stand against domestic abuse. Sunday (7) marked the start of UK Says No More Week, an annual seven-day event which aims to raise awareness and put a stop to abuse. In support of the campaign, Chief Constable Nick Dean has signed the No More pledge in a bid to prevent victims from suffering in silence. Throughout the week, the force will be highlighting its commitment to tackling all forms of domestic abuse and the help available to victims or concerned loved ones. Luxury cars stolen in Whittlesey in suspected keyless thefts

“We advise keyless entry car owners to keep their keys as far away as possible from the parked car.   “This is because criminals are known to use signal boosters, which triggers the keys to unlock the vehicle.   “Keeping your keyless entry fob out of sight is not enough – thieves only need to get near to the key to amplify the signal.”  Police are now warning all residents of potential further thefts are ask anyone to report any suspicious activity as soon as possible.   “Members of the public are urged to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police online or through the online webchat function,” added the spokesperson.
