Investigations are underway after a service station was robbed in Sydney’s south-west overnight.
Police were called to the business on Stranraer Drive, St Andrews, about 8:50pm (Thursday 24 December 2020), after an employee was threatened by a man armed with a handgun.
The employee handed the man cash and he ran from the scene.
Officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command were alerted and have established a crime scene.
Police are now appealing for information to identify a man they believe can assist with inquiries.
He has been described only as being of Caucasian appearance and had his face covered with a black face mask. At the time he was wearing long black pants, a long-sleeved grey shirt, and a white NIKE-brand hat.

About 8.40pm (Saturday 19 December 2020), police were called to a service station on Ballantrae Drive, St Andrews, following reports of an armed robbery.
Police have been told two men – one armed with a machete and the other wielding a hand saw – entered the store, before threatening an employee.
The armed men stole cash and fled the scene on foot.
The attendant was shaken though not injured during the incident.
Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced a search of the area.
