Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the virtual reopening of the academic session in public schools across the state.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the reopening of the academic session in public schools virtually. He urged students to move forward together to create a new world. The reception event hosted by schools for students welcoming them to the classes is known as Praveshanolsavam in Kerala.
Praveshanolsavam has been conducting in Kerala online for the second time due to the Covid-19 situation. Digital classes for classes from 1-9 began today through KITE-Victers channel through its First Bell portal.

The World Health Organization’s Chief Scientist Soumya Swaminathan has said that India’s ban on the export of coronavirus vaccines had a severe impact on 91 countries, reported NDTV.
“Ninety one countries are impacted by the shortage of supplies, particularly since the AstraZeneca parent company has not been able to compensate for the doses which have not come from Serum [Insitute of India],” Swaminathan said in an interview, adding that these countries were vulnerable to the new, more transmissible strains, including the B.1.617.2 coronavirus variant first found in India.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said, Centre should intervene in Lakshadweep issue. It s Centre s responsibility to ensure that people s interest should be protected.
The resolution in the State Assembly declaring solidarity with the people of Lakshadweep was presented by CM Pinarayi Vijayan. The Opposition also supported the special resolution.
