TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Wildcat fans said win or lose, theyâre impressed by the teamâs performance in the NCAA tournament.
âWhatever happens, I am very proud of them and I think the whole city of Tucson is, too,â said Lisa Heltemes, an Arizona alumna.
The national championship game had fans on the edge of their seats.
âEveryone is chanting and screaming. Before you know it, theyâre one point up from us and then my heart just broke,â said Gabriella Centurion, an Arizona freshman.

A Wellington man who helped his house guest inject drugs, then raped her while she was incapacitated by their effects, has been jailed.
Kevin Douglas Hill, 64, appeared in the Wellington District Court on Wednesday for sentencing after being found guilty of three charges of administering meth, and three counts of sexual violation. He pleaded guilty to charges of possessing drugs for supply.
