Several arrested on weapons charges during traffic stops in Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. â Police say several people are facing weapons charges after handguns were recovered during traffic stops in Kalamazoo.
The first happened around 11 p.m. after someone appeared to be concealing a gun at a local business. Officers soon made a traffic stop and found three firearms in the vehicle. Police say they took three Detroit residents into custody on various weapons charges.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says another Detroit resident was arrested a short time later during another traffic stop. Police seized another handgun from that scene and say the two incidents appear to be related.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. On Saturday night around 10:03 p.m., the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to the 3800 Block of E Cork St. for a report of shots fired.
According to authorities, when police arrived on scene they found a 23-year-old man from Kalamazoo suffering from a gunshot wound.
Life saving efforts were performed and the Kalamazoo man was transported to a local hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.

KALAMAZOO, MI - A 23-year-old Kalamazoo man died from apparent gunshot wounds Saturday evening, according to a news release from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
Police responded at roughly 10 p.m. Saturday to a report of shots fired at the 3800 block of E Cork Street, finding the man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. First responders attempted to save the man’s life, but he was taken to a local hospital and died from his injuries.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. â Police say a man was shot and killed Saturday night.
It happened around 10 p.m. along E. Cork Street in Kalamazoo.
According to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, first responders found a 23-year-old Kalamazoo man had been shot. He was rushed to the hospital where he later died.
The man s identity was not released.
Police say they have no suspect in custody and no description was given.
