Multiple weapons confiscated in Kalamazoo following Silent Observer tip

KALAMAZOO, Mich. â The Kalamazoo Public Safetyâs Crime Reduction Team and the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team seized multiple firearms during a search in Kalamazoo Thursday afternoon, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
Weâre told a tip submitted through Silent Observer notified authorities of drug and weapon violations. KDPS says authorities made contact with occupants inside a vehicle on Stadium Drive where a loaded gun was found in plain sight.
Three arrests were made in the incident and a total of three loaded guns were confiscated, KDPS tells us.

KALAMAZOO, MI Three individuals “known for their involvement in gun violence” in Kalamazoo were arrested Wednesday, Dec. 16 during a surveillance operation in the 400 block of W. Michigan Avenue.
The suspects, ages 22, 23 and 24, are all being held at the Kalamazoo County Jail, while the prosecutor’s office reviews possible charges, a news release from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety states.
