Illinois Homes Receive Racist Letters On Door Step

Police in Galesburg and Monmouth are on the lookout for suspects that has been leaving racist and divisive content at people s homes. According to the Police Department they have had to respond to numerous cases of someone depositing zip lock bags with letters in them at Galesburg residences. The zip lock bags are filled with rocks in them to weigh them down as the suspect is leaving them on driveways.  The printed propaganda material on the flyer is about COVID-19 with reference to White Lives Matter. The handouts also include various websites that sell untested medical supplements. As the majority of the material appears to be aimed towards marketing a medical supplement that is shipped from Florida, it is not believed that the material originated from a local source and is instead part of a guerilla marketing campaign.
