When the pandemic struck, and in the year that followed, higher education found itself grappling not only with how to transition entirely to remote learning but also with an existential crisis of sorts. Facing concerns about student technology access, tenuous enrollment numbers, value propositions and more, higher education quickly realized it needed a path forward. In remote, online and hybrid learning, some colleges and universities are finding that path or at least some of its paving stones.
Now, higher education technology leaders believe mixed-modality models, such as hybrid learning, will remain in force even as universities look beyond COVID-19. Authorities continue investigation of fatal Belmont County crash
SHADYSIDE, Ohio – The Ohio State Highway Patrol continue to investigate a vehicle accident that killed a man in Belmont County, Wednesday evening.
According to reports by the St. Clairsville post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on State Route 7, near Mead Township.
Troopers stated that a truck driven by 34-year-old Danny Dayton of Powhatan Point, was traveling southbound and went off the right side of the road, striking a guardrail; The truck then traveled off back on the roadway, striking the median, before overturning.
A passenger, 36-year- old Kyle Bowen of Clarington, was ejected from the vehicle, and pronounced dead at the scene.
