Teressa âTerryâ Janet Mixer Hamilton
Teressa “Terry” Janet Mixer Hamilton, 68, of Belpre, Ohio, unexpectedly passed away April 23, 2021, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, surrounded by her family.
Born on June 4, 1952, to Edward and Emma Julia “Judy” Mixer in Parkersburg, West Virginia, she grew up on Hill Street Sunrise Addition forming many fond memories with her neighbors. She attended Core Road School, Madison Elementary, Hamilton Junior High, and graduated from PHS in 1970. At every stop along the way, she was frequently active in clubs and activities, and made many lifelong friends. Terry attended Ohio University and graduated summa cum laude in 1974. She later earned her Masters degree from Marietta College where she once again graduated summa cum laude.

LITTLE HOCKING Belpre Township trustees received $150,000 to help fund the Little Hocking Community Recreation Center.
The recreation center will be at the site of the former Little Hocking Elementary School, which is in the process of being demolished. The school was sold last year to the Belpre Township trustees as the facility was no longer being used.
At the December meeting of the Warren Local School Board of Education, the contract for the demolition was awarded to Raze International Inc. of Shadyside at a cost of $325,190.
