Many Luzerne County government offices will have limited in-office staff and will operate by appointment only following the most recent COVID-19 mitigation rules released by Gov. Tom Wolf.
Those seeking county services are asked to call offices ahead of time or visit the countyâs website, luzerne
county.org, since most staff will be working remotely.
âFor any employee or member of the public that must come to our buildings, please be sure to practice safe distancing, good hygiene and know that our buildings all are under enhanced cleaning protocol to assist in minimizing risk,â the county said in a news release.
