It’s all’s well that ends well for Korean actor Kim Jung-hyun and agency O& Entertainment as the two have finally resolved the issue on the duration of his exclusive contract.
Kim Jung-hyun’s exclusive contract with O& Entertainment ended at midnight on May 11 but since last month, the agency had been disputing its expiry date, saying it should be extended by 11 months owing to the time that the actor went on hiatus in 2018 after leaving the drama “Time” due to health reasons.
O& Entertainment even filed a dispute with the Korea Entertainment Management Association (KEMA) regarding his contract.

Korean actor Kim Jung-hyun, star of the K-dramas “Mr. Queen” and “Crash Landing on You,” announced that his exclusive contract with his agency O& Entertainment has expired on May 12.
Last month, O& Entertainment disputed the duration of his contract, saying it should be extended by 11 months, owing to the time he went on hiatus after he left the drama “Time” in 2018 for health reasons. The agency has filed a dispute with the Korea Entertainment Management Association (KEMA) over his contract.
The issue of the contract surfaced after Korean news outlet Dispatch published a report claiming that Kim Jung-hyun and “Crash Landing on You” co-star Seo Ji-hye were dating. It was revealed that he was trying to get her help to transfer to her agency Culture Depot.

To recall, the issue about the 31-year-old actor's misbehavior towards Seohyun and the cast of "The Time" resurfaced after his dispute with his current agency, O& Entertainment, came to light.
Earlier this week, the management revealed that the actor's contract still has the validity of 11 months, following his abrupt hiatus after leaving the said drama.
