Hyderabad: More than 1,000 UK returnees in the state are being traced. 20 teams have been formed for this purpose. Telangana health department has made a list of 1,200 people returning to the state from UK since December 8.
20 surveillance teams have been made to track the returnees, visit them at their homes, check their current health status and screen them for Covid. Samples of those testing positive would be sent to the CCMB for genome sequencing.
